All of this alleged, a baseball manager for a 10U team has trouble paying out the winner of a fundraiser, so the league alters the cops that the manager, who is also an employee at the New Jersey Division of Child Protection & Permanency is suspected to have stolen the money left in trust in him as Treasurer. They said Michael Walters, 52, “was misappropriating the monies that the players had raised from fundraising activities.”
This is where the story gets crazy. The police are saying that Walters took matters to his own hands. The very next day, he walks into a local bank, and performs a successful robbery.
Police got suspicious that he was the bank robber when he reported the league repayment just after the robbery.
